LG GREETINGS

Hi everybody. My name is Kiana Son and I am the LG for Division 12 South. I am going into grade 11 at Mother Teresa Catholic Highschool. I have been a key club member since grade 9. After getting a taste of exec leadership in grade 9, I served as co-president in grade 10 and couldn’t wait to get more involved! My favourite initiative to take part in is the annual food drive in collaboration with the Barrehaven Food Cupboard and I look forward to taking part again this fall! Outside of Key Club, my hobbies include competitive rock climbing on team Altitude, reading, baking, walking, and spending time with friends and family! ABOUT DIVISION 12

Formerly known as Division 8/9/10, Division 12 includes 12 Key Clubs divided between Division 12 South and Division 12 North. Ottawa, Pembroke, and Gatineau are all a part of Division 12. Our oldest Key Club is located at Nepean Highschool and it was chartered over 50 years ago in 1952! From Division wide initiatives and community events, to Fall Rallies in collaboration with New York, we spread a lot of positivity and have a lot of fun!

Divisions 8, 9 and 10 were combined in 2015 with the first LG being William Zhang. In 2026, Division 8/9/10 was changed to Division 12 after the alignment of the Key Club divisions with the Kiwanis divisions. The division currently consists of 12 Key Clubs split between our two Lieutenant Governors: Kiana Son (Division 12 South) and Matt Fisher (Division 12 North).
