Hi, my name is Bereket Yohannes. I am a Grade 12 student at York Memorial Collegiate Institute in Toronto. I am passionate about leadership, community service, and finance, and I enjoy taking on opportunities that help me grow personally and professionally. Outside of school, I volunteer in my community, serve as a deacon at my church, and enjoy staying active. I am always eager to learn new skills, collaborate with others, and make a positive impact wherever I can.
 
Fun fact: A fun fact about myself is that I love listening to international music and discovering songs from different cultures and languages.

Hi, my name is Estifanos Alemu. I’m a Grade 12 student at York Memorial Collegiate Institute and a member of Division 9 West. I serve as District Secretary-Treasurer for Key Club Eastern Canada District, Club Coordinator on Student Council, and a City of Toronto Youth Ambassador. I’m also working with the Terry Fox Foundation across different departments. I’m excited to keep growing as a leader, contribute to my community, and connect with others throughout the year.
 
Fun fact: I’ve played volleyball for four years and have won three regional championships with my school team.

Hiii everyone! My name is Joey and I’m from District 18/20/21. I’m from Colonel Gray High School and I’m going to be in G12! I moved to Canada in 2021 and I speak three languages fluently (unfortunately French is not yet one of them!) I’m the type of person with very niche interests and music tastes so I would love to hear anyone talk about their niche interests as well! (Nothing is too weird :>)

I have been singing and dancing since I was 2 years old!

Hey Eastern Canada District! My name is Katharine Ding and in the 2026-2027 school year, I will be a Grade 12 student at Richview Collegiate Institute. From founding a Key Club chapter in Grade 10, to ending my high school service journey by serving on the District Board as the DELC Chair, I am honoured to be part of such a vibrant and passionate community. When not occupied by my commitments, you can find me exploring downtown Toronto, maximizing the use of my digital camera, or rewatching one of my favourite movies!

Key Club to me is more than just a club for me, it has become a place of new friendships, memories, and my growth as a leader. As the Lieutenant Governor of the only division outside of Ontario for the Eastern Canada District. I aim to strengthen the bond with our Ontarian Key Club and Kiwanis Members. My name is Victoria Rode and I am a member of the Kiwanis Club of Ingersoll. I am looking forward to serving as President of our club for the next two years as well as contributing to the Eastern Canada Key Club District as an Assistant District Administrator. I attended IDCI and was a member of the IDCI Key Club for four years and loved having the opportunity to serve as an LG for the Great Lakes Division. I currently work for the Alzheimer Society Southwest Partners and appreciate the experiences I am able to have serving our community. I believe that intergenerational activities provide many benefits to the participants involved as well as the communities and organizations in which the activities are taking place. I would love all Kiwanis members to experience Service Leadership Program involvement and hope to encourage this throughout the District.

I run a not for profit karate dojo and teach classes to children and adults.
