District Education and Leadership Conference

What is DELC?

The District Education and Leadership Conference (DELC) is an end-of-year District-wide celebration of all of the service and achievements all of the Key Clubs in ECD have accomplished this service year. It marks the beginning of a brand new service year, with the new board being installed for 2026-2027.

Our year’s event theme is Shaping Stellar Leaders under a Starry Night!

This year, DELC will be held from March 27-29 in Toronto, Ontario at the Toronto Don Valley Hotel!

Guest Speaker - Rae Ajayi

We will be having our amazing guest speaker, Rae Ajayi at DELC 2026 this year!

Rae Ajayi is an Executive Director, educator, and leadership mentor with over a decade of experience transforming long-term care through innovation, compassion, and people-first leadership.

Recognized for her ability to inspire teams and elevate care experiences, Rae leads a 192-bed long-term care home in London, Ontario, where she oversees operations, strategic initiatives, and a multidisciplinary leadership team.

Rae has spearheaded multiple corporate-wide initiatives, including the rollout of new technologies that enhance resident engagement and the development of standardized program plans now used across several homes.

Passionate about leadership development and mentorship, Rae is committed to helping others rise to their potential. Her leadership is grounded in authenticity, clarity, and a strong belief that great leaders create environments where people feel valued and capable of growth. This approach has made her a sought-after speaker for professional teams, youth groups, and organizations looking to strengthen culture and purpose.

Dedicated, forward-thinking, and deeply human in her approach, Rae brings both expertise and heart to every event, conversation, and project she is part of, always striving to leave people and places better than she found them.
