Caring By Cards

What is Solo Summer Service?

Solo Summer Service is an initiative created by the Eastern Canada District to encourage Key Clubbers across Canada to continue serving their communities during the summer. No matter where you are, whether you’re traveling, working, or staying local, you have the opportunity to spread kindness and create positive change wherever you are. This initiative is also open to non-Key Clubbers and members of other branches of the Kiwanis Family. As a bonus, participants can also receive volunteer hours for the service activities they take part in.

Caring By Cards: The 2025 Summer Service

This summer, the Eastern Canada District invites people to take part in Caring by Cards, a Solo Summer Service project centered around spreading kindness, one card at a time. Whether it’s a note to a senior in your community, a thank-you to a local worker or a message of encouragement to a friend or neighbor, each card can brighten someone’s day. After all, caring is a way of life, and every card you write is a reflection of that.

How to Participate
